드론은 점점 더 이 세상을 새의 눈으로 조감하는 방법으로 이용되고 있다. 점점 더 많은 사람들이 카메라를 하늘 높이 솟아 오르게 하여 자신만의 영역을 넘어 드론사진 커뮤니티가 시상을 하기 시작하였다. 이를 계기로 이번에는 SkyPixel 2016 Contest 에 출품된 최고의 사진들을 보여주고자 한다.
SkyPixel은 공중사진의 본고장으로 성장하고 있으며, 2016년 컨테스트에는 27,000 점의 출품이 있었다. 여기에는 아마츄어와 프로 사진작가들에 개방되어 있으며, 3개의 부문으로 나뉘어져 있는데, 360, Beauty 및 Drones in Use로 구분되어 있다.
