이것은 전에 홍경삼씨가 올렸던 'Super Moon' 이야기에 답글로 올려졌던 노래다.
어느날 다시 한번 들여다 보니 가사를 어디서 찾아 왔는지 노래의 절반도 안되게 적어 놓았다.
비록 우리가 Italy 語를 모른다해도 노래는 계속 나오는데 가사가 중간에 끊어지다니... 너무 성의가 없다.
이럴참이면 아예 첨부터 답글을 쓰질 말던가.
많이 반성하고 다시 전문 (全文)을 찾았다. 그리고 무슨 소린지 대강 짐작이라도 할수있게 영어 번역도 찾아 올렸다.
"Luna, Tu..." 를 "You are the moon." 이라고 영역한것을 시건방지게 그냥 "you, the moon... " 으로 고쳤다.
"You are the moon."은 뜻은 맞는지 몰라도 여기선 아주 어색하고, 시적(詩的)인 표현이 못된다.
어떤 사람은 또 "Moon, you...." 하거나 아니면 "You, moon..." 하고 영역했는데 이것도 우습다.
내가 되지 못하게 까탈스러워서 "You, the moon..."으로 고쳐 보았다.
그런데 알고 보니 독일어 번역도 "Du mond (you moon)...," 불어 번역도 "Toi, lune (you moon)..."
마침 음력 정월 보름때여서 달의 노래가 새삼 느낌도 새로운데 방금 신달자 시인이 살아 온 이야기를 들으니
그분께 드리고 싶은 마음이 들었다.
마음에 위로가 될듯한, 어쩐지 어울릴듯한 느낌의 노래다.
주소를 click 하고 Italy 가사를 따라 가면 한국 세 젊은이의 노래는 달이 주는 느낌처럼 아주 황홀하고, 신비스럽기까지 하다.
